And i finally got the pics from last week's orientation cum heritage race. Our group went to little india and was given 25 bucks to complete all the tasks.
Had a taste of betel nut (without tobacco of course hehe) which was erm.. Quite an experience. The redish stuff is actually honey. But my teeth didn't turn red as i gave up chewing on it haha.

Another task was to have henna done on the miss little india of each group.

Simple design for 2 bucks. Apparently, a darker henna colour means that the girl's future husband will love her more lol. Interesting.
Had to buy a sari as well and the girls chose this 7 bucks sari which is like super cheap! Can't believe that my first time wearing a sari's in NIE. Tsk tsk.

After all the folding and wrapping, we were done! :)
