HK Day Three
Went shopping at hong kong island in the day and spent A LOT on H&M. Their clothes are nice and their lil' gift ideas are cute!
Me with my loot. It was so heavy that i had to literally drag that bag along with me.
Took the MTR down to causeway bay, which was daddy's hometown too! Explored victoria park first, which is a park that stands in the middle of their town area.
Hotels and shopping centres across the road.
One of the must-go shopping places at causeway bay is island beverly. Its something like far east, with lots of stuff for girls. Bought my boots from this shop called taurus. Good service and pretty boots!
Went back to our hotel to dump our stuff and we were tickled to find this...
Their staff are so meticulous that they even folded our sleeping clothes and placed them nicely on our beds. HAHAHA. They also changed the weighing scale after i left a note near the sink. Super good service!
Slacked awhile with my iced mocha from starbucks.
And beanie panda was my mini bolster during the trip keke.
In the evening, we travelled down to yau ma tei and temple street. i was strangely craving for indian curry and we decided to try out this asian kitchen which said...
They have the best indian malaysian pakistan nepali cuisine.
Their only television was playing some bollywood MTV which was abit funny. But weird stuff aside, their food was good! And i was amazed when the indian lady spoke in fluent cantonese. Anyway, Delia ordered their dinner set which consisted of...
Soup of the day, keropok, briyani rice and mutton curry.
While i ordered...
Cheese nan and lamb curry which were both recommended by the lady. Food was awesome! Curry is the best thing to have on cold days.
Digested our satisfying dinner by walking down temple street, which i didn't particularly like. Its kinda like chinatown and there wasn't much to see. So we had another round of dessert at Hui Lau Shan Healthy Dessert. What a name lol!
Hers.
And mine.
Ended our day by taking pictures with the hello kitty christmas decorations at langham mall. And there were so many people! But good thing is, the mall closes at 11.30 pm which gave us plenty of time to snap all we want.
Lots of unwanted people inside. Rawrrrr.
Conclusion: locals there really love hello kitty.
