HK Day Six
Spent our last day nua-ing as we completed disneyland way ahead of schedule. Our 2-day passes were super under-utilised haha.
Anyway, i forgot to mention that entry to HK disneyland is via fingerprint scan which is like o.o. i almost freaked out when the system denied me. It made me feel like an illegal immigrant. How welcoming.
But our hotel was pretty cool. HK disneyland hotel is inspired by the victorian period, combining mickey mouse with victorian designs, known as 'Micktorian' themeing.
Back view of our hotel, which overlooks the sea.
There's a mini park at the backyard and even a kids maze to entertain the little ones.
And the hotel's interior furnishings were soooooo victorian!
Carpeted corridors with a nice balance of mickey prints and flowers.
Toilets for the gentle ladies.
What i love most is their retro-looking birdcage lift! But we didn't take it as our room was on the first level.
A peak inside our room...
The nicest part was their bathroom!
I was really fascinated by their 7 dwarfs toiletries.
And tissue box compartment.
I especially like their adjustable cosmetic mirror. Perfect for dolling up and.. CAMWHORING!
We had dinner at sorcerer's lounge, simply because there was no other choice. But their dinner menu was good.
Our bread basket.
Pumpkin soup and seafood spaghetti.
Had breakfast again at sorcerer's lounge before checking out but their buffet was very limited.
Noodles were cold, tim sum was okie. Delia said that the only saving grace was their milk, which i totally agree.
But the ambience made up for it.
The staff were nice too. Their waitresses wore victorian dresses as their uniform, which looked really uncomfortable to me =X
And i was mistaken as a japanese by this uncle hotel staff lol.
After checking out, we cabbed down to the airport, got our octopus cards refunded and lazed the afternoon away at grappa's.
Cute cheese grater.
Iced lemon tea and hazelnut latte.
Their italian baked rice was AWESOME! Looks kinda little but all the yummy cheese made it really filling. My super satisfying last meal in HK!
I love HK and i wanna go back again! :)
