HK Day Five
Had breakfast at 稻香 again before checking out. Delia and i dragged our luggage from langham place hotel all the way to disneyland hotel via the MTR (which included a total of 3 transfers). It was painful...
Our arms almost broke, which explains our cui faces here.
Taken on board disneyland train from sunny bay station.
Shuttle bus to our hotel. As check in time was 3 pm, we left our luggage with the staff and headed back to disneyland resort.
Our first stop was gingerbread village, just down the main street. Their lil' shops were so cute!
Love those spinning lollies! And my fave shop was...
Minnie's pink boutique, simply because it matched my clothes lol!
HK disneyland has 3 different 'lands' and we decided to explore TOMORROWLAND first.
Played our first ride there called space mountain, which is also the park's only roller coaster ride =X
Not exactly thrilling but really cool. i like the effects and how it makes you feel like you are flying in space.
Of course, 'taunting' signs like this only brings out the reverse psychology in me muahaha.
To infinity, and beyond!
We moved on to FANTASYLAND, which is also the largest 'land'.
In front of sleeping beauty's castle.
We were just in time for the philharmagic showtime which had a really long queue.
The staff gave us a pair of 3D glasses and i must say, the show was awesome! Its actually 4D-ish because we could smell the muffins, feel the water droplets and hear donald duck's footsteps around us.
After the show, we went around snapping pictures with more disney characters.
Mickey and minnie!
Tigger, goofy and pluto! Who is already in a chinese new year mood.
Delia brought us to this happy little place called its a small world which really cheered us up in that crazy cold weather.
We went for this kiddy pooh story ride which is basically a ride in search of pooh's pot of hunny.
Made our way back to the main street to catch their let it snow christmas parade.
Pictures turned out a little crappy as the weather was bad and the people in front refused to make space for shorties like me. RAWR.
Anyway, the whole thing lasted for about 30 mins, afterwhich we went back to check in and nua at our hotel until evening where we continued with ADVENTURELAND.
Took a ferry across to tarzan's tree house which was a little disappointing as there wasn't much to see.
But its really nice to walk around at night as there is a different beauty attached to it. i particularly love the lights.
And tribal feel.
Our last ride for the day was this flying dumbo thingy.
Delia and i felt like little kids all over again because we loved to play this when we were young!
Cinderella's carousel looks pretty at night too!
Did our shopping at the souvenir shops and both of us spent more than 200SGD each lol! That's what you get when you've a stitch fan and an eeyore fan. But HK disneyland seems to favour pooh, piglet and stitch. Mehhh.
Ended our night with their 8 pm fireworks!
I thought this picture looks pretty artistic with that extra camera inside. Its like a picture of a picture, no?
PS. i deliberately left out disneyland's food as it still haunts me =X
