HK Day Two
Woke up early to have breakfast at 稻香, which was recommended by our hotel receptionist. Its within a 5 minute walk and sells really good tim sum! Delia and i ordered...
We liked the flaky mini pastry with BBQ pork most! Xiao long bao and siew mai were good too. And for all these, we paid less than 10 SGD each! *grins*
Visited 3 tourist attractions in a day!
OCEAN PARK
We were horrified by the number of people there when we reached at 10.30 am. Some staff were stationed at the entrance to help take pictures and of course, we made good use of their service hee!
Visited the pandas first and they were so adorable! (though i dun see any link between pandas and ocean park)
An An and Jia Jia.
While queuing up for the cable car to bring us up, we were amused by this board that defines queue jumping lol.
It was a pretty long ride from one end to the other...
After being suspended in the air for 15 minutes, we finally reached!
An overview of the highland theme park.
Pacific pier is located right at the end but these noisy seals can be heard from miles away. The fatter they are, they louder they become.
Went down to their 4-storey aquarium and it was really really cool! Watching these creatures at the deeper level was fascinating.
Turtles generally stay closer to the surface while stingrays and sharks prefer staying underwater. That's my own observation though. May not be true haha!
Tried 2 of their park rides, namely...
A very cheena name roller coaster. i like the loops!
The abyss which was pretty exciting. Though they should have a full plunge instead of a half-drop. The cutest part was, they actually had one of those seats for photo-taking purposes.
Delia goes... AHHHHHHH!
THE PEAK
Bought tram tickets up to the peak after we were done with ocean park.
Thing is, there's only one tram in operation and queues were naturally long. So, some retards conveniently cut our queue.
Anyway, i must mention this really nice japanese restaurant at the peak that serves awesome sukiyaki!
The beef is nicely cooked. Soup is sweet and tasty. And the view completes everything. Perfecto!
Walked around the mall abit before heading to the roof top. We were up there around 6 pm as the sun sets early in HK.
Pretty night view! The only problem: over-crowding.
MADAME TUSSAUD'S
Was where we had lots of fun taking crazy shots with the 'people' there. Shall post some of my personal favourites...
The very willing third party.
I LOVE THIS! HAHAHA.
Beloved Shakespeare, thou art my love.
Delia to the rescue!
*curtains close*
