I wonder. Am i the only one who is not into christmas this christmas?
Restaurants are fully booked for christmas celebration. Orchard road is flooded with people, fighting to take pictures with every christmas tree. Major shopping malls are crowded with last minute christmas shoppers. And my neighbourhood is littered with people asking for christmas donations.
All in the name of christmas.
Its like. People tag christmas as a reason to do things.
When i was in HK, i read this article in herald tribune about teenagers going into relationships just so that they'll not be lonely during christmas. They also reported more people having casual sex during festive season as the festive mood made them want to do it. ROFL.
As for the cliche tagline: christmas is a season of giving! Its cow dung. True givers dun only give during christmas season.
Lastly. Christmas wishes dun come true :)
