Recharged

This past week of march holidays is perhaps the best stuck-in-singapore term break i've had. People in my profession usually take the opportunity to travel out of town whenever we have school holidays (me included). But i'm so glad to be in good company this week!

I appreciate being engaged in deep conversations and being able to talk about anything under the sun, without awkwardness. i'm thankful for the laughter, advice, brain stimulation and self-discovery that i experienced from having both kinds of conversation.

I'm thankful for my pool of close friends who have been there for me and weathered through storms together. Honestly, i don't think i will get along very well with someone who has the same personality as me haha.

A summary of what my week has been: GOOD FOOD, GOOD COMPANY.

Sunday brunch at symmetry cafe after waiting for 45 minutes under the hot sun. This proves our patience!

MOF dinner at AMK. There was of course more food than this but i thought the rainbow inari looked colourful :)

On a side note, it was great catching up with Ngiap and Fang Yu outside school, without me being stressed up over work. And the luxury of having long conversations as opposed to our usual chop chop lunches.

Ramen dinner and tea-ssert (my term for tea and dessert lol) with xue mei. This girl knows me so well that she can even finish my sentences now! She's one patient and sweet girl who listens to my rantings all the time.

K-session at SCAPE, like finally! It was cathartic, being able to sing all the songs i wanted to. Literally sing to the dawn.

Today's lunch at GRUB with my lovely babes. With them, there's always lots of chatter, laughter and photo-taking lol!

Baby Kayden's a big boy now! He can talk and even said to me, "I like you!" with a big grin. What a cutie. *melts*

I'm still in denial of having to go back to work but this week has been wonderful. i'm recharged!
