Past tense 'had' because i'm back at work again today. Nonetheless, yesterday was a great day spent doing everything i love! It feels great to unwind after 3 crazy weeks of school.
Had brunch at maison ikkoku, which is near bugis. The cafe was packed but we managed to get an outdoor table (or should i say door?). Thankful for a cooling afternoon!
The table's actually made from a recycled door and was uneven, so we had to place our drinks strategically so that they don't spill. Anyway, that's our hot chocolate (been abstaining from coffee due to gastrics), Ping's cappuccino and Kat's tiny piccolo latte. The different sizes made it look like some family portrait lol.
The girls' big breakfast and my hangover omelette, recommended by buddy. Yummy food! Will definitely be back to try other stuff and hopefully get an indoor table, with all the cool decorations made from recycled items.
After that, we went for a movie session at cathay. Hercules was quite good, except that it was too short. i guess i'm biased but Thor is still the best mythological character! Mainly because of Chris Hemsworth lah, haha.
And because CNY is coming, shopping is absolutely necessary! Okie fine, maybe it's just an excuse to shop since i shop regardless of occasions. Still.. Retail therapy works all the time!
My loot from New Look (which has a 10% discount for citicard holders), TEMT and Factorie! Oh, by the way... i ordered stuff from fairbelle too and i'm super pleased with their workmanship.
Ended the day with liu sar pau, though i think bosses still has the best custard buns.
I actually spent almost 11 hours in town and time just flew past so quickly. Man, i wish weekends were longer. On a happier note, it's a short week this week! :)
