With canteen food as my staple during school days, i get random foodie cravings now and then. As for this week, chicken rice just popped out of nowhere. And i'm just so thankful for my mum who specially went out to buy dinner from one of my fave chicken rice stalls.

Was just talking to piggy about the yummy chicken rice meal we had at mandarin gallery last december, thanks to this awesome groupon deal that i spotted. Hehehe.
We made a reservation for lunch and even the boy who isn't a big chicken rice fan, was full of praises!

But.. There's always space for desserts! People always say that girls have a separate compartment for desserts and its pretty true. So we decided to try their melaka dessert.
My part was just to finish the ice cream hehe.
After lunch, we made use of another groupon deal to hop onto the singapore flyer. i was really excited to see the night view!
Acting all touristy hahaha.
Before we went in, we had to do a luggage check, like those conveyor belts at the airport. And i was quite amused. i didn't expect such tight security for a tourist ride but oh wells.

And then finally, we managed to board the capsule.
I must say, the view was quite spectacular.
A little momento for the real tourist to keep.
P.S. Purposely left out our mad for garlic dinner because i'm still traumatised by the gastrics i got after eating excessive garlic =/
