22 June: Sight-seeing with Tuk Tuk
After breakfast (which was exactly the same as the previous day! >.<), Min and i walked to patong beach, which is a 10 min walk away from deevana patong.
First stop: PATONG BEACH.
The sky was pretty dark when we reached and we were afraid that it'll rain the whole day. Which would be a really big spoiler. But the dark clouds didn't stop us from cam-whoring. Hehehe.
And we wished Shan was with us...
You were missed, babe!
Our next planned move was to get a tuk tuk which will bring us to all the sightseeing places that we've listed. We thanked our lucky stars for a really good tuk tuk. The wife of the driver tagged along and she's so nice! Satisfied with the price she quoted, we happily hopped on.
Excited us on our way to the next destination!
Snippets of some scenary along the way...
Kata beach.
Past kata beach resort & spa to our..
Second stop: KATA VIEW POINT!
There's a flight of stairs that leads to the pavilion upstairs where the view is nicer.
Ta-da!
Nicely taken by a random stranger.
Third stop: PROMTHEPE CAPE!
More stairs to climb. Whee?
Anyway, according to the lady, promthepe cape is a famous sunset-watching spot. The best time is around 5.30 pm.
It was super windy the whole day and because, we couldn't take proper pics without slapping each other's faces with our hair, we decided to take some funny shots.
Just for laughs.
Shops along promthepe cape where we did some touristy shopping.
Fourth stop: CHALONG BAY.
Which is basically another pier.
Fifth stop: CHALONG TEMPLE.
They say its the biggest temple in phuket.
Sixth stop: PHUKET OLD TOWN.
Had our super late lunch at 4.30 pm and left after that as it was raining. And because Jiamin wanted to buy some thai mangoes back, we ended up at this wholesale fruits market.
And back to hotel where we took the minibus back to phuket international airport.
Goodbye phuket, we miss you!
