It was actually a very impromptu decision. Everyone was so nua after lunch at wong kok hong kong cafe and i thought, maybe a little walking will do us some good. And so, we walked from bugis under the hot sun with the help of our iphone GPS (none of us knew the way lol).
Haji lane is like a mish-mesh of everything. Had a pretty interesting experience as we walked down that one way street.
There are many little shops on both sides. The first one that i entered was sweet pair. They have really cute shoes and bags! i even managed to bargain 10 bucks off the original price for this..
The material is super comfy! i spent such a long time there as i couldn't decide which pair to get haha. Wanted to shop some more at other shops but the guys started to get bored. Ended up at gaming paco where we played rock band and dj hero.
Was craving for dessert when we saw this ice cream cafe. Quite like the place even though it is a little small. After trying out almost all the flavours, we decided to get redbull and long island tea ice cream.
Interesting can drinks for $1.50 each. i like my almond drink!
Our corner was nice and cosy. Ping and i took the sofa seat which was so comfy that i didn't feel like moving.
We look so blissful here haha!
The cafe provides some games too. Of course, it isn't anything like mind cafe but its good enough to entertain us. YC came up with this wonderful forfeit for our jenga game: loser will have to stand in the middle of haji lane and shout, ITS MY BIRTHDAY!
Well, whose birthday will it be?
Hint: look at the hand! i felt very bad actually because i was the last person to draw the 'brick'. Couldn't bear to let xue mei do the forfeit. Anyways, we had enough entertainment just watching each other play. Butter fingers and shaky hands! HAHAHA.
At the end of the day, i had business cards from all three shops.
Maybe i just have the spend-a-lot look. Gotta control my spending now so that i can shop more during my holiday trips! =X
