Totally dislike shopping for formal clothes but i managed to get my shirt and pencil skirt for convocation. G2000 had this 20% discount for UOB cardholders with a minimum purchase of 2 items and a nice auntie asked if i wanted to combine receipt. Ended up saving 8 bucks. Hee.
Totally forgot that today was the national day preview until fireworks bursted out of nowhere in the midst of our dinner at marina square. MOF staff and customers dashed outside to take pictures while i rolled my eyes. i mean. ITS JUST FIREWORKS. We have more fireworks than rainbows in a year but i dun see people taking pictures of rainbows.
To me, rainbows are prettier than fireworks. Rainbows make me happy because they remind me that there will always be sunshine after the rain in life.
