Dressmart
Spent like 200 NZD here in a single day! Bought winter coats, jeans, sneakers, socks and a hat. They have everything and all the major shops here. i was so busy with my shopping that i didn't take any pic of the place, except for some sushi we had when our stomach growled...
Eastern Beach
The beach near Sean's place. Its really nice to watch the sunset with cute doggies frolicking around us.
Kelly Tarlton's
What i remember most is the headless penguin that amazed us because it looked like some strange paranormal activity. The snow cat brought us around the penguin habitat to see those cute little things.
Sleeping penguin.
And headless penguin.
Cute penguin soccer table!
Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT)
This is by far, the coolest museum i've ever been to. We spent the entire day at MOTAT and had so much fun! The museum houses new zealand's transportation and technological advancement from early days to present day.
Early auckland.
Snow expedition.
An operating tram for MOTAT vistors.
The saluted occupations.
A replicated printing room.
Entertainment during the old days.
Lesson of the day: always practise traffic safety lol!
Auckland Museum
After exploring both museums, i really think that what we have back here is incomparable lol. The good thing about auckland museum is that auckland residents get to enter for free. Sean was one happy guy haha!
I am auckland museum. HAHAHA. Inside joke.
Maori culture.
War memorial hall.
Museum library. Love this pic!
Auckland Zoo
The lady at the ticket office was really nice to charge me at student rate even though i told her i wasn't a local. Their zoo is pretty cool!
Pinky flamingoes.
Some japanese garden inside the zoo.
Playful tiger.
A tree of monkeys!
The lost wallaby.
And our fave orang-utan! i still remember how fascinated we were when it grabbed the towel that fell off.
Point Hill
Love the scenery at night. The building lights look like stars. Pretty view! But i didn't manage to capture it nicely on my camera.
This is the best that i've got.
Shall stop here for now and update about my rotorua trip some other time. Laziness kicked in and took the better of me. As always.
