Drowsy & Dysfunctional

Two words to describe my current state. And it's not caused by my sickness, but the prescription for my sickness. Haha.

I must remember this drug: FEDAC.

After more than a month of uncured flu and 4 visits to the doctor, i was given antibiotics and 4 other different tablets, of different sizes and colours. Never did i expect a tiny, innocent-looking pink tablet to knock me out.

Went to google it and found out that many users experience very bad drowsiness. Other adverse reactions include disturbed coordination, dry mouth, nose and throat.

Bingo. Spot on.

Yesterday was my first day on this prescription and i found myself unable to think straight. i had a splitting headache the whole morning and wanted to just sleep. Thankfully, i was excused from the afternoon meeting and i went back to nap for a long time. When i took it again after dinner, i felt extremely tired again. But the weird thing was, i didn't have a good sleep. I woke up almost every other hour.

So today, i decided to take it after lunch instead of breakfast. My morning lessons went fine but when it came to CCA time, i just couldn't focus. i felt oozy. And i managed to sneak in a short nap when i got home before dinner.

Even now, i still feel like sleeping. And i can't wait for my medication to end, to function normally again.

Is it better to feel drowsy from a bad flu or a strong tablet? Both seem equally bad to me now.
