KL Treats

And so. i escaped to KL during the long weekend for meetup, food and shopping!

Even though i've been to KL a number of times now, it still remains exciting for food hunting. My fave place during this trip is definitely...

Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

Located at bangsar village. Like the name suggests, the place specialises in porkie stuff. It was really crowded on the day that we went but thankfully, we were seated quickly.

Cute menu that looks like a kid's storybook. Is it just me or do the pigs look somewhat like mice?

Anyway, i'm not a pasta person so i decided on big breakfast and nutella milkshake (which was very good). They renamed their big breakfast to i'm so hungry i can eat a wolf. Cool name? Yes, initially. But not when i had to check my order twice. Mehhhh.

I like how my poached eggs look like liu sar bao here lol.

Lyn and Nic kor's food. The pasta was quite nice actually because it isn't creamy (which is the very reason why i dislike pasta). We also ordered pork skewers and a slice of chunky monkey cake for sharing.

There goes our super filling lunch that made me feel like a gluttony pig. Maybe that's the whole point?

Next up. i've always been a firm believer that coffee isn't just meant for working days. Coffee is life's simplest pleasure and as much as possible, i never miss out on having a cup a day.

So after shopping around bangsar area (they have lots of blog shops), we settled for coffee at bangsar village again.

Artisan Coffee Bar

A pretty cool place and if you're an indecisive person, you may find the flow chart menu helpful (or more confusing, hmm...)

I love how our coffee look so good together. Different choices and sizes. They sell homemade ice cream too but i wasn't quite impressed. Maybe things would be different if i'd liked sea salt caramel. Why is the name called wonderland anyway?

Moo Cow

A place for yoghurt lovers. i really like their strawberry flavour. Topped with oreo flakes.. Perfect!

Lyn's belgium chocolate yoghurt was nice too. If you like bitter chocolate that is.

There's so many other things that i wanted to try in KL. i wished i had 4 stomachs, like a cow. Hopefully i'll get down to it next time!
