It was nice to drop all my markings last weekend to go food-hunting, shopping and movie-watching with piggy. Despite the series of unfortunate events preceeding his car breakdown (technically is his brother's car lol), we still managed to make the best out of the time we had!
We had a super late friday dinner at garden's cafe and were the last customers to leave =X
The feel at night's pretty different from day time but i'm still intrigued by their pretty setting. Garden themes are pretty!
There was even a lady who played on the grand piano for us, making it seem like some kind of private dinner since it was just us and another couple. Anyway, we didn't order much that night. Just ribeye steak and satay pizza, which looks unappetizing but tastes really good!
Cool bowling alleys, pins and neon-coloured balls. They were blasting club music and the place felt so clubbish. The lanes are quite bad though so... EXPECT TRASHY SCORES! :)
We went back to midvalley again the next day to retrieve his car that was parked overnight at the carpark lol. But we were so hungry that we ate lunch first. It was a random walk-in to this japanese shop which turned out to be a pleasant surprise!
The pork miso steak is super awesome! The sauce is so yummy and complemented well with our teriyaki chicken. Then, we waited for Nic kor and Lyn to help us get the mechanic. Turned out that his car battery died lol. A big thank you to both of you! He still owes you a treat, hehehe.
Finally, we managed to get out of midvalley and drove over to sunway pyramid where we had... MORE FOOD.
I wanted to try this waffle hotdog on my last visit but was too full for it. This expensive snack is pretty decent but not something that i'll eat again.
Dinner was my long-awaited esquire kitchen's tung po yoke and flower buns! We tried their spare ribs this time and its equally good!
The buns may look unfilling but two of those is enough to make us feel bloated. Those buns dipped in tung po yoke sauce is just heavenly!
We did supper at pandan indah which was an hour's drive from his place. i snoozed in his car and woke up feeling hungry. That silly boy was so excited to bring me there haha!
Cripsy otah rolls and pandan chicken with their version of iced yuan yang...
Despite his busy report, the sweet boy accompanied me to satisfy my cravings and we went back to madam kwan's just so that i could eat their signature nasi lemak. Aww..
His sweet and sour chicken. Seriously, why is malaysian food so addictive?! If only they could branch out to singapore, i wouldn't feel so deprived :(
Shall stop here for now 'cause sleepiness is kicking in.
NOOOOOOO... Its marking day tomorrow!
