I'm 4 months overdue >o<
My last entry here was about busan. On our last day there before flying off to jeju island, we went to their famous national park...
TAEJONGDAE
Our stay there was a pretty hurried one which is okie actually because there really wasn't much to see except the lighthouse and cliffs.
The tram frequency is quite bad. Each tram has an interval of 30 minutes and if you are unfortunate enough to be kept out from boarding the packed tram, you had to wait for another 30 minutes.
Our first stop was the observation tower.
There is this kettle island which you can see from the deck. It really looks like the shape of a kettle! Cute!
We walked down to the light house which is one tram stop away. Walking is definitely more efficient than waiting for the tram.
And soon enough, we saw the lighthouse! (lame pose i know lol! but you get the point =P)
It was a long, long walk down the slope to the cliffs...
Which had lots of people taking pictures. Some even dangerously standing at the edge, like our dearest Kat..
Since it took us so much effort to make it there, we did a number of crazy shots.
It was really quite scary to be doing jump shots and sitting at the edge of the cliff with dangling legs..
Plus the fact that it was exceptionally windy. Ping said she hoped that the wind wouldn't blow her away haha! So, we made our way back up to the lighthouse.
And climbed the dreaded spiral steps. It felt like the steps were never-ending and we were so dizzy.
But the view from the highest point of the light house was amazing.
WE CONQUERED! :)
Our multiple layers of clothes were drenched with sweat and despite the cold, we took of our winter jackets to cool ourselves. It was THAT tiring!
On the tram to the main entrance of taejongdae park. Ended our busan trip with our fave korean fast food, lotteria!
Beef cheeseburger meal with hot chocolate. Who wants macs when you've got lotteria? =P
