Okie this is quite belated actually, hehehe.
Was having lunch with the newbies at vivocity today when i suddenly got nostalgic, just by staring out of the window which overlooked USS. Although i was there a month ago, it feels soooooooo long!
And who best to drag along other than someone who's a tourist and hasn't been to USS? :)
After breakie at macs on 8 dec, we made a beeline for the transformers queue and was deceived by it! From outside, the queue didn't look too long but when we got past the entrance, we were horrified to be welcomed by snakes of people.
The whole wait took us about 45 minutes. Thankfully, there were stuff along the way to amaze and amuse us.
Finally! i had no time to whip out my DSLR so here's a low resolution picture of how the car ride looks like.
Anyway. Transformers is not a roller coaster ride. Its a 3D simulation that is really cool. Totally love my bumblebee and optimus prime!
Went for the battlestar galatica next! Its never too much to ride it again because both the human and cyclon tracks are thrilling in their own ways.
Because, i didn't go on to the accelator the previous time, we decided to hop onto one of those spinning cups. Its really nothing exciting or anything, more like a convenient place for us to rest our feet. Keke.
Up next was revenge of the mummy. This indoor roller coaster still retains its scary factor for me. Not so much the ride itself but the effects from all the mummies.
I wonder how much he gets paid for walking on stilts. Hmmm...
We were hungry after conquering all the higher intensity rides and i suggested lunch at melben's drive in. Ate there the last time with Kat and Ping and quite like the place.
Because i wasn't hungry, i got myself a cheeseburger kiddy meal that came with...

We were pretty in luck that day and managed to take pics with some star characters.
And my fave land definitely has to be FAR FAR AWAY :)
It was fun playing a fool with all the readily available props in those souvenir shops.
Wanted to stay on for the let it snow christmas special show at 7 pm but we were too tired. The day was just too exciting for us oldies haha!
