Literally, haha!
The unusually early me reached terminal one today and planted myself a standing spot outside belt 22. With an empty stomach, i waited, waited, and waited...
Unclaimed luggages kept spinning round the carousel for the n-th time. The arrival glass door opened and shut before me, each time blowing out a gust of chilly air-con. Hordes of people started streaming in with trolleys and oversized luggages.
So, where was he?
His flight had 'LANDED', according to the big screen. And its already been 30 long minutes (which is very long for a hungry woman!)
Just then, a text came: the immigration line is stagnant.
OMG?! i wanted to scramble to an empty seat but the arrival hall was insanely crowded. Everyone was waiting for everyone.
I continued stoning at my spot. Stared blankly at the blank faces of arriving passengers, then stared into space. REPEAT MODE ON.
Until finally, i saw a familiar face and was super happy! 48 minutes behind schedule. RAWRRRRRRR.
While going over for lunch, i teased him by asking him to make up for my 1 hour wait. He hesitated and asked me how. But i couldn't answer as i wasn't serious about it.
Then, he suddenly took out a duty free bag with my dior liquid foundation inside. He had told me earlier that he couldn't find the colour i wanted at KLIA. But he actually bought it to surprise me.
Awww.. Thank you! ♥
Although we could only spend less than 5 hours before he flew off again, that transit time together brought lots of warmth to my heart. People will never understand what LDR feels like until you've been through it. Every relationship has its ups and downs, and sacrifices to be made. More so for us with our 5 hour time difference, haha. But i guess what matters is how we pull through.
Now, aren't we thankful that some smartie pants invented whatsapp, facetime and skype? Hehehe.
P.S. Okie, i admit to being a little drama here. Apologies xD
