Just what i need! After 10 weeks of practicum, finally some reward for myself hehehe.
The first thing i wanted to have was the famous toa payoh rojak at food paradise. i never had the time and patience to queue up for it. So on saturday, i met up with buddy to have lunch...

After lunch, we made our way down to orchard tangs to utilise the $80 shopping voucher that i won from the teachers day dinner lucky draw. Ended up getting this cute pair of havaianas slippers!

Wanted to check out the newly opened H&M outlet. But we were horrified by the hungry crowd waiting to get in.
And seriously..?
The queue outside H&M was so long that they had to start a new queue that stretched all the way to somerset 313.
So. Change of plan.
Made an impromptu decision to go bugis instead as i haven't been there to shop for some time. And we saw this cute smurf display outside intercontinental hotel. There were many smurfs of different designs that were done by celebrities, radio stations and NAFA students.
But my fave is still the nerdy smurf :)
Did a teeny bit of shopping and had dinner at asian kitchen, illuma. We ordered rice and two main dishes to share.
Salted egg with sotong and roasted chicken which was damn nice!
The funny thing was. i had a random craving for miso soup and still wasn't 100% satisfied despite our dinner. So, buddy suggested meeting up for dinner the next day to appease my craving.
Sunday's dinner was spent at osaka town. The super hungry me ordered their set which had...
Miso soup of course! i wished they had free refill for soup instead of green tea. Keke.
Half seafood okos and tofu hamburger steak.
Continued with round 2 of shopping after dinner. Bought some stuff from fox, which was having a $10 off for minimum $60 purchase and $20 off for $80 purchase. And bought 2 more items from kissjane at city link. i was one happy girl even though i blew my money.
On our way back, we saw this 1-for-1 gelato ice cream promotion. Being cheapos, we got ourselves 2 cones for only 3 bucks each. And each cone had 2 different flavours!
Sounds really good. But the ice cream wasn't fantastic. The cone was just bleh and i threw it away after digging away the ice cream.
Today was yet another fruitful day of food and shopping. Met up with Hui to have lunch at handburger.
Original handburger set lunch shared by both of us. We opted for a choice of salad and ordered additional onion rings.
My must-have drink whenever i'm there: marshmallow with nutella milkshake. Sinfully nice!
And then, we joined many other crazy shoppers to queue outside H&M. Minus all the queueing up to enter, to try our clothes and to pay up, i think H&M is a pretty good place to shop. There are tops going for $13.90, $17.90 and $19.90. Lingerie's like below $20. So once again, i spent. HAHAHA.

Had dinner with Clara at ding tai fung at night. We shared xiao long bao (6 pieces) and a plate of fried rice with pork chop.
As always, we went for dessert at marble slab creamery.
The best way to end a happy day is to end it on a sweet note!
