BUGIS STREET
I recently went bugis street to shop after a long, long time and found out that the first level is now air-conditioned!
That just proved how outdated i am :)
Anyway, i used to boycott that place because i couldn't stand the heat and narrow alleys. But now, the air-con is blasting cold and i was pleasantly surprised to find some hidden treasures.
For one, the shops at level one are really cheap. There are dresses and skirts for as low as 10 bucks. Those in the middle section near to the escalators are not too bad. Min and i went in to one of those shops and managed to bargain a few dollars off. Haha cheapos!
Found one shop in particular on the second level called in house fashion that sells pretty nice blogshop-looking clothes. i bought like 4 dresses! And i can't wait for october to come because i'm gonna make use of my 15% birthday month discount. Muahaha.
But the third level is not worth going up at all as it has nothing. Most shops are still vacant and the air-con is crazily cold!
Apart from shopping, there's yummy snack shops on the first and second level. i only tried the crepes from Ned's because they looked really good.
There's a variety of sweet and savoury crepes but i was in the mood for banana nutella which turned out pretty good!
Love the hot crispy crepe!
But i still miss the banana chocolate pancake from phuket. Boo :(
