Bumped into my NIE tutor yesterday and the unplanned encounter was a timely one haha. She asked me about things in practicum and we talked quite a bit. Being the well-loved tutor by all of us, she made me feel so much better about my remaining 5 weeks.
And this weekend's been great :)
Had the luxury of sleeping for 11 hours last night and enjoy my girly chill-out sessions.
Met up with Shan on friday night after a much-needed afternoon nap hoho. Although dinner at ippundo was bad (the queue, irritating couple behind us, food and noisy ambience), it was still heaps of fun.. Cam-whoring at our fave toilet lol!
All these wonderful iphone camera apps are just excuses to cam-whore more hehehe.
Anyways. We went to lakopi at coffee club, paragon after that, as Shan was craving for southern blend iced tea.

Friday nights are the happiest days of the week where time becomes a nebulous concept. Sitting around and catching up over coffee without having to worry about lessons. Doesn't even matter if i sleep at 11 am haha.
And yesterday, Delia and i went shopping for Shari's baby's 1 year old pressie. Its really fun shopping for kids stuff because everything looks so cute! We ended up buying fox baby clothes and toys for the little one.
To make up for the terrible dinner at ippundo (its seriously overated), i wanted a nice japanese dinner with free-flow of ocha. Seriously, this is the basic service that a japanese restaurant should have. Rawr. Complaints aside, dinner at ootoya was a much more therapeutic experience, away from the crowd.
Their dessert's really good.
So are their mains, though choices are pretty limited. With Delia, meetups are free of cam-whoring hahaha because we usually have so much to say! She's someone i will turn to for advice :)
And to add additional icing to the day, i bought this cute little chain from orchard central. The place has always been a ghost town and so, i was pleasantly surprised to find this treasure. They've got many other pretty things too, with the option of customizing so, yep!
Back to work again and another sleep-deprived week. Next weekend's gonna be packed! Can't wait!
