The neighbourhood where i work at has several cafes which received good reviews and i've always wanted to try them out. Yesterday, i finally found the time to chill out on a friday afternoon and just escape from work.
Met up with Ping to discuss about our NZ trip at drips cafe. As requested by Kat who missed out, we took pictures for her.
The outside and the inside. It really feels slower-paced in this little space. Everyone seems to be in their own world lol.
My late lunch of smoked salmon croissant. i really love how the mild sweetness of the crispy skin complements the freshness of everything else inside.
My loves. Coffee and strawberry. The seasonal strawberry tart is to-die-for, especially for strawberry lovers. The pastry base is crispy and well-made. The chocolate tart in the background is made of dark chocolate which was a bit too thick for my liking but still a good choice for sharing.
I'm definitely coming back again for their pastry. Hoping to explore other cafes in tiong bahru.
