 BANGKOK!

Mainly for their shopping, thai massage and food. The 3 things you can't do without in BKK.

Thai Massage

We went for thai massage at two of the bigger spa places, health land and refresh 24. Both have very different concepts.

Health land is huge (they even have their own lifts) and more commercialised. Its conveniently located in asoke which is walkable from terminal 21 and the train station. The whole place is very dark but what i like is the private shower in every room.

Still, i personally prefer refresh 24 which is more comfortable and i actually fell asleep during the massage. Given a choice, i would still go for refresh despite its not-very-convenient location.

T&K Seafood (Green)

Located in chinatown. There's a red stall as well but according to Delia, the green one is more popular.

And the queue was long. Thankfully, our number was called within 20 minutes. The staff were very efficient. They gave us the menu and took down our orders before we sat down so that our food can arrive quickly for...

Feast time!

My fave is the fried chicken (a must-order!) and the tom yum soup. i would have liked to try out more food but there's only so much that two girls can take.

Mr Jones Orphanage

There's also another outlet at siam center, which we only found out after visiting the one at seen space. But apart from the interesting interior, food was disappointing and so i'm doing away with the misleading foodie pics.

Hopscotch! My primary school childhood game.

We sat on the second floor which had a really low ceiling and we had to bend over to scramble to our table.

I look like some scary teddy-bear-hugging orphan girl. You know, those you see on horror films ><

Magnum Cafe

Serves some nice food. Not everything comes with a magnum ice cream, like Delia's phad thai.

Breakfast menu is served until 12.30 pm. There's waffles, pancakes and pizza, like the one i got. Quite a cool place to dine at.

Madame Tussauds

Compared to the one in HK, the one in BKK is smaller but more interactive. There's more props and games to play with like this...

Or these...

Some of my fave celebrities...

Johnny Depp! He's so versatile in all his movie roles.

Cute Nickhun!

I don't really fancy Michael Jackson but i think these 3 people are legends in their own ways. i listened to Michael Jackson's songs in primary school, spent teenage years listening to Jay Chou's emo songs and grew up watching Jackie Chan's action movies.

Hmm.. i wonder why spice girls and backstreet boys didn't make it to the museum?

Anyway this pretty much sums up my trip and i probably won't shop for clothes for awhile... Let's see =P
