2 sundays ago, we celebrated daddy's 60th birthday at...

ARTEASTIQ TEABONE CHINA

Was surprised to see a really quiet place with no more than 3 tables of customers. Which also explains why i was very unhappy when they forgot our orders and gave us crappy service. That aside, food was good.

The 60 year old birthday boy happily waiting for the feast to begin. Hee hee.

And here goes our table of food...

Daddy's chrysanthemum tea with wolfberry and my hot lychee tea. Both our teas came with a mini flaky pastry of char siew puff.

Looking cute in the mini aladdin lamp. And this is only the teaser. The mains are here!

Bak kut teh soup with beef and  vegetables. The soup was so much, it fed the entire family.

Bro's favourite cod fish.

These 3 were my fave! The prawn balls with mango sauce were refreshing. The peking roast duck was really good. Dipped each piece with the gravy and wrapped it with the popiah skin. Heavenly!  But the crispy chicken was the best. The skin was so nice that i ate all of it! (i usually do away with the skin)

Dessert was their famous liu sar pau. Love the custard egg yolk! But proceed with caution. Daddy took such a big bite that everything dripped out :(

Daddy was one happy man, hehe. May your wishes come true!
