UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE!

The noobs finally set foot on USS last weds :)

The feeling seems almost nostalgic, like my experience in HK disneyland. Just that, instead of mickey and minnie, we saw shrek, fiona and alex!

Walking down the crowded HOLLYWOOD walkway to...

MADAGASCAR!

Just as we were queueing up for our first ride, i bumped into a friend who let us in to the express queue! Kekeke.

We were also given the first row to sit. Whee!

Some snippets of crate adventure...

Next stop: FAR FAR AWAY.

We hopped on enchanted airways, which is a junior roller coaster.

A very mild and short ride for people of all ages.

Went for the shrek 4-D adventure show which was pretty cool. Not gonna disclose any spoilers. Just watch it!

We hastily made our way to THE LOST WORLD!

Since there was still time before our 1 pm water show, we queued up for the canopy flyer, which had a really really long queue.

Us in the midst of everyone else.

After that, we went for the waterworld show which was okie only. If you're sitting in the soak zone, expect to get drenched. And be prepared to breathe in lots of smoke from the explosives.

The only indoor roller-coaster in USS is located in ANCIENT EGYPT.

And can i say. ITS AWESOME! For me and Kat, it was the mummy stuff inside that was scary. For Ping, it was the ride itself. All in all, the ride was whoa! It was scary sitting in the last row during the reverse drop.

Anyway, we moved on to SCI-FI CITY to conquer battlestar galactica!

LOL at those dangling legs.

We started off with cylon, which was the more thrilling ride of the two.

And we survived!

We moved over to the human track and the only thing that made us insecure was the single strap waist seatbelt as opposed to the double-cross strap in cyclon. Its literally just a chair with nothing in front to support us.

Hungry and thirsty from all the screaming, we had lunch at mel's in NEW YORK.

A huge jukebox in the middle.

And a small one at our table lol!

Satisfying lunch of crispy chicken burger with chilli fries and strawberry milkshake.

Random afternoon performance just outside mel's while...

Kat was taking an afternoon nap.

The only attraction in NY called lights, camera, action!

Which is a simulation of a grade 5 hurricane. The effects were totally mind-blowing! A MUST WATCH!

The sleepy us decided to rest abit at celebrity cafe & bakery before going for our jurassic park rapids adventure wet ride.

Mid-afternoons aren't complete without a cup of coffee.

And happy pics! Taken by a super initiative waiter lol.

Managed to catch the last show for monster rock at 6.15 pm where we happily sang along to familiar songs. Their finale song of course was Bon Jovi's super high ITS MY LIFE!

Before the park closed at 7 pm, we took some final shots inside.

With king-frog herald.

PUSS-IN-BOOTS! My fave character from shrek!

Byeeee USS! We had fun! :)
